On one hand, the Miami bed features a 3-joint and 4-plane slatted frame (backrest, lumbar area, legs, and calves), as well as a very quiet electric lifting motor that allows for a height adjustment ranging from 32-33 cm to 78-79 cm. It also incorporates a 9V battery that enables the bed and joints to be lowered in the event of a power outage.
The slightly curved slats of the bed frame are made of 53 mm natural beech wood. It also has 4 wheels for easy transportation, 2 of which are equipped with a braking, directional, and free system.
On the other hand, the pack also includes a hospital mattress made of thermo-adaptable viscoelastic material, offering excellent firmness and user adaptability through pressure. It is specially recommended for preventing and alleviating lower back, muscle, or joint pain. The mattress features a layer of high-resilience foam that supports the user's weight, as well as an upper layer of viscoelastic material that conforms to the body's contours through heat and pressure.
Furthermore, it is removable, with a waterproof, breathable, and washable cover at 90º, featuring an L-shaped zipper. It is finished with an antibacterial treatment and is fire-resistant.
The mattress perfectly adapts to the movements of the bed frame, and its high-density foam ensures maximum comfort.
In addition, the following options can be added to the pack:
- Anti-decubitus mattress with included compressor: Very powerful and quiet. It has alternating air cells that inflate in a 6-minute cycle thanks to the compressor, serving to prevent the development of pressure ulcers in users who spend long periods in bed.
- Universal bed rail: With 3 bars and a folding mechanism.
- Headboard and footboard made of DM wood.
